Outline

  • A Solenoid Valve Operated Wide Angle Electro-Hydraulic Steering Gear (JH Steering Gear) is capable of steering a rudder to such wide angle as 70° port and 70° starboard, and is optimum for making a Schilling Rudder exhibit its specific character.
  • A JH Steering Gear has performance accordant with torque requirement of Schilling Rudders.
  • A JH Steering Gear employs hydraulic pumps of constant discharge, inscribing gear type, and hydraulic cylinders of double-acting piston type.
  • The Steering Gear is controlled by solenoid operated valves, and hence construction is extremely simple and operation is easy.
  • The Steering Gear is compactly designed, and excellent in terms of high control accuracy and good respond ability.
  • The Steering Gear is so constituted that an installation error can be absorbed by spherical bearings adopted for joint parts.
