A Solenoid Valve Operated Wide Angle Electro-Hydraulic Steering Gear (JH Steering Gear) is capable of steering a rudder to such wide angle as 70o port and 70o starboard, and is optimum for making a Schilling Rudder exhibit its specific character.

A JH Steering Gear has performance accordant with torque requirement of Schilling Rudders.

A JH Steering Gear employs hydraulic pumps of constant discharge, inscribing gear type, and hydraulic cylinders of double-acting piston type.

The Steering Gear is controlled by solenoid operated valves, and hence construction is extremely simple and operation is easy.

The Steering Gear is compactly designed, and excellent in terms of high control accuracy and good respond ability.

The Steering Gear is so constituted that an installation error can be absorbed by spherical bearings adopted for joint parts.

The Steering Gear has been approved by major Classification Societies.
