New VecTwin Rudder System

Rudder angle combination by Joystick control and the resultant ship movement can be confirmed by handling the Joystick lever in the animation above. Furthermore, crabbing of a ship with a bow thruster being operated in combination with the rudders, and a crash astern stop of a ship in an emergency can also be confirmed.

In this connection, at a full-scale ship, the above rudder angles corresponding to the respective motion of a ship can vary to some extent, depending on ship shape, draft, ship speed, etc. and please appropriately adjust rudder angles, looking at motion of the ship.

By means of adjusting a tilting amount of the Joystick lever, rudder angles are adjusted, and value of thrust is changeable, and thus ship speed and ship turning power can be changed at your own will.
